USPS buying 10% electric trucks for fleet, Dems unhappy, they wanted 100%, problem is the electric trucks don't cut it, no good for long distance, not practible, then theres all the electric pumps that would have to be installed at USPS facilities plus the actual extra power grid wires and transformers, $2.3 billion for a 50% electric fleet (at least) without power grid stuff. $500 mil for 90% gasoline, plus $900 mil in emissions fines, Biden was going to give them a taxpayer handout of $3.5 billion for etrucks but can't get the Bill through the house, at least three times the cost for electric, the tech is just not ready or competitive yet and can't even do some of the job.

Thats some huge subsidies for a company, i wonder if Biden wants to buy every business an EVtruck that might need one to keep things fair, especially small businesses.
