@big e - best of luck with today, wish I could just 'garden' but I am supposed to meet friend at the local market and have lunch - don't want lunch - don't feel like going out
Checked on Windows/Microsoft updates etc. - seems one needs to do the updates, because of vulnerabilities - but update programming sometimes goes wrong too - many frustrated people on the net. Will do a major update of my important documents today - will later consider 'the cloud' -
Friday was some kind of 'special' off day: I should have heeded my first warning, which happened on the way there, in the car, driving down-hill at great speed (which is allowed!) - I had accidentally programmed an alarm into my phone - it went off and kept going, whilst I was driving - I then had to find a parking spot in order to stop it - then thought: 'this is not starting off well, should I return?' but I continued. Drive wasn't good either, very busy early Friday afternoon.
If I were a simpler human, I would have turned round - and simply cancelled the appointment and lied -
on top of that having to explain to youngest daughter that I wasn't 'gaga' yet, because she knew about my appointment, had recommended the specialist to me made chickening out a 'no-no'.
I hope I never end up having to go to that particular industrial hospital site - I wasn't impressed with the people there either - there is staff in the thousands, many only knowing a very small section or their work area. Very strange for a state which has a total of only 2 mill inhabitants??? Are we that sick? -
I have only ever been in hospital for my babies, later an appendectomy and a small foot operation and recently half a day for a suspected heart attack.
Good thing though: everyone was masked - and on entry checks were made, fresh masks were handed out, etc. - but will write to the hospital authorities for a map of the area to be displayed at the entrance to their 2 multi-story garage buildings: P1 and P2, because that's where I began searching for a layout of the grounds - and nothing - in the end I found one such map in the car park of St John of God's, which I photographed and it helped my daughter find Car Park No 2 - which was back to back with Car Park No 1 - and I simply took the wrong turn on the way out.
You, take care, @big e!! - and @Lady Penny and everyone else, too. Good health, is so important and needs to be managed at times and not just left to 'nature'.
Slowly regaining my self confidence
