Good morning from Montville! Mist so thick in front of the house while the other side is as clear as a bell. Misty rain has just stopped. Birds loving it. Enjoyed your post on Adaminaby/ Mt Selwyn. Have lovely memories of our 2 sons, now in their mid-thirties, toboganning just as you turn into Selwyn. Brilliant clear sunny skies, snow sparkling, hubby was cooking sausages on the barbie. I was ensuring my boys didn't kill any of the other kids with their lack of toboganning etiquette. Beautiful part of the world. We were lucky to live there. From memory, there was a memorial stone explaining the Chinese influence in the goldrush years, their market gardens and tent towns. I understand there were also a few ladies of the night plying their trade. So much history.
