I look at it as a possible repeat of the 1960's and 1970's, as theres a lot of simularities especially now gold is rising too.
Looking at the interest rate chart below i think we could be at the 1966 sort of area however it does look like they are resisting a cut to rates like they did after Nov 1966 so thats a plus however governments are still in denial and are spending and stimulating willy nilly like they did back then, i don't think the governments learn't much at all but the central banks holding on cutting rates seems to show that they have learn't a little bit. All imo.
