IMHO the price of PMs that is used does not reflect their true market price which I believe is actively manipulated
So if the price just reflects the inability to keep the prices artificially low, then the increase should not affect the rest of the market as it is just bringing the price to a more normal level

There was a report from Cosco in the USA which are now selling gold over the counter and they are having trouble keeping the supply up so demand there is increasing

Until the PMs market is totally released we will not know what the true price should be, and consequently it will not be until then that we will see if movements change the general economy
