Aldi is generally quite average however those eye fillets they sell are good value but you might get a rough one or two now and then, export quality doesn't mean it's a good rated product either, in fact it's quite the opposite unless it has extra words attached to the word export....like JAP OX export for example, export or 'A' grade is the cheap stuff but some of the eye fillets are ok.
$29.99 chuck steak! ...... I suppose electric isn't cheap down there....I doubt rent would be cheap either....
I remember when i started, lamb cutlets were 50c each, so were lamb shanks, sides of Lamb were 1.49/kg and it twas only 1990 odd.
