Sorry but they were proven to be price gouging and I could put up 40 posts where people did a quick run around on prices in the supermarkets and proved they were doing just that. They could not justify the prices they charging on some items at all. They get caught out all the time. Didn't I just show that with the bread?
I think you need to do some research and see that even the Nationals last year were wanting $10million fines brought in. Both supermarkets have been found underpaying staff and fined. Go back to 2014, 2015 and even 2016 and see what they were doing then. You don't think they need regulating?
Regulating them, fining them will not cause any problems other than bringing people out of struggle.
I am also of the opinion of small government, one that is efficient, honest, frugal and hard working. I am pointing to Javier of Argentina here who has sacked a lot of nonsensical government.
