aganpthus appear to be like other living entities - completely unpredictable. Sometimes you think you understand them and sometimes what you thought was appropriate isn’t. Tend them carefully and they seem to decide you’ve over cared. Neglect them and they get grumpy. Or the reverse. Most usually what you aren’t doing. Treat them rough - sometimes they like it. Other times they’ll die on you. I’ve also heard of them flowering abundantly in the shade. Mine are temperamental but I have a very large clump that may have survived my absence that I will put into the garden when I get back. Maybe I’ll try under the birch trees. Not sure if the arum lilies took hold there or not.
Though they are hard to kill. I guess all you can do is
