This Lord Mervyn talks a lot of sense and his approach to problems is worth noting too imo, he also points out that intellectual mistakes from the academic arena have caused some big problems, intellectual mistakes are very bad for the people, he points out these modern economists and intellectuals rely on models a lot to base decisions and projections from and the what should be an obvious fact that models are not the real world thus the awful mistakes because the model data is wrong.

He talks about a lot of things in here which are all relevant to todays goings on economically and some politically and well worth a listen imo, he talks a lot of sense and shares his views on some questions about the coming decade.
