Ukraine is geographically important for defense of Russia, Poland is not, one needs to understand more than average about military to get this, missles don't cut the mustard in a proper war and if one wants a proper defense.
Your comparison is very far from the same.
The attack on Ukraine has nothing to do with the Grain, it is all to do with NATO's expansionary agenda and putting a stop to it and it's goal.
Russia is allowing grain exports, it hasn't stopped them when it could.
It only went into near Kiev at the beginning to destroy the biolabs and grab the evidence.
