    Morning,

Markets have a bit of a bounce but still a bit volatile, not out of the woods yet but a good day none the less. Sharp late sell-off not a good sign but emotions are still high.

    VIX smashed, down 24%

Gold holding above the spike lower. Bitcoin holding above the lows too.

Oil not doing much but oil consumption is forecast to rise up to 2mil barrels a day through back end of 2024.

Mishy B from our RBA should have put rates up imo but did give a so called hawkish hold even with inflation being way above band and target for over 11 quarters in a row now! Yes way above for over 11 quarters in a row and she does nothing!! Worse still Dim Jim lies to the public and says his policies are driving inflation lower when his policies are doing nothing but holding inflation up higher for longer!

Why don't we have 30 yr fixed mortgages like America does, why do our banking overlords screw we the people so much?

Elon Musk says civil war in UK is inevitable....and hes 100% correct too, we are humans after all.
Amazing the UK PM over there has a go at Musk over his comment when the cause is the government policies, all the UK PM has to do is reverse the policies causing these problems, your never going to fix it if you don't correctly identify and eliminate the problem, a continued push against the will of the people will result in a civil war at some point of time, it's a human nature thing, governments are mean't to represent the people not special interests.

Rivian tanks with bigger losses, German EV sales slump after subsidies gone.
