A couple that had come along in there car (in brief) and found the Father, they then rushed several K's down the road to find a house with lights on, to use their phone for the police. The house they came to, just happened to be the Fathers brother and as soon as he heard it was a red ute, he knew it was his brother. So he immediately shot down the road and sure enough it was his brother.
I was asleep in bed at the time and there was a knock on the door, and I over heard the Uncle telling my mother at the front of the house, so it was a rather rude awakening. By the time I got down the road, the father had been taken away, and that was probably a good thing because,.....the father when at the morgue had to be ID'd, so the Uncle, mother and sister went there. The Uncle did that and the mother was asked did she want to see him, the immediate look on the Uncles face said a thousands words and he shook his head for a Big NO.
