Each year I send out $60k of invoices for rental equipment, only time I spend is drawing up an invoice and sending it which all up is less than an hour of my time. Am I getting paid $60k for my time or the goods/services I provide?.

"Time is money" is an aphorism The saying is intended to convey the monetary cost of laziness, by pointing out that when one is paid for the amount of time one spends working, minimizing non-working time also minimizes the amount of money that is lost to other pursuits. It really has nothing to do with economics
