From seed to sanctuary!
More than 750 birdwing butterfly vines have been planted across Brisbane's inner west to help support the endangered Richmond birdwing butterfly.
These vines are important because the butterflies lay their eggs on the birdwing butterfly vine, which its larvae need to survive.
Thank you to the Cubberla-Witton Catchment Network, the Richmond Birdwing Conservation Network and dedicated community members for making this project a success.
