I guess it beats those stories about cows killed by aliens (from outer space not South America) We have had 13mm this afternoon. Much bigger falls on the Liverpool plains around 50mm. Plenty of areas are still pretty dry especially in south west of NSW. Our son’s neighbour is a retired farmer and he is predicting a wet summer based on all the “signs”. This is western downs of QLD. The US still chasing our beef which is a good thing. Prices for old cows and heavy bullocks are pretty good. Young cattle are a long way short of what they were 2 years ago. Sell the old girls and keep extra heifers.
