I am of the age, I worked and lived with numbers of guys that went through the War
from both sides and those that were not fighting
and have and had a few friends, Germans
that went through the War and their tales about food
or rather the lack of it and the eat anything to stay alive
people today would not understand and maybe just die
myself I dont know how I would cope
because we have always had full bellies
there are far too many real life tales for a little forum
