”Granulated old people” is just me being light hearted, but close to the truth.
All salmon in shops in Australia is farmed … they are pumped up on high protein food of some sort, fed antibiotics to ward off disease and fed nitrates (or nitrites) to get the pink colour everyone wants to see.
Most Barramundi and some Kingfish are also famed.
I will only eat salmon if it is forced on me by well meaning hosts.
