We have had a lot of businesses in town close. No picture theatre. You drive into a complex and nearly every shop is shut now.
The movies used to have 2 thriving cafes next to it. Now gone and all the jobs with it.
I'm still waiting for a specialist and have to go all the way to Newcastle. My doctor is really angry about it as there are a lot of people here who never get to see one.

When I was in hospital one poor nurse was clearly depressed. Told me how she was barely making ends meet, worked long hours and never saw her kids. She said she was going to have to quit and find a better paying job. I have a list of MP's and am slowly just emailing them all. One MP I think has blocked me, lol. I'm being nice but they don't want to know. Queensland nurses are paid 15% more than NSW. Govts are crap.
