I thought you might consider the cops on some of those roads. Saw someone had driven their ute into a paddock gate, ripped out a heap of fencing and completely trashed every panel on the car. Down this way they have been installing heaps of new safety guard rails as part of a new safer roads program. It seems it lasts intact for a short time before someone hits it. We were held up for an hour when an old fella in a hilux came around a corner and drove straight into the end of the new guard rail. Flipped the old girl on her roof and closed the road. Really, people are becoming quite reckless. Apparently, there were young ones in a P Plate vehicle throwing golf balls at vehicles coming the other way at 100km/hr. Caused significant damage to a lot of cars. Could have killed someone if the hit a windscreen.
