@Andrews10 - thanks - they sat up neatly whilst they nibbled on the petals, it was obviously a 'fine dining' experience for them - I wished then I had a camera on me - it was hilarious! I have tried kangaroo meat from time to time (Coles sell it), hoping it would be like the deer one can get in Europe, beginning of autumn - but it is much stronger-tasting, would probably get to like it if there were no other choice.
