Accept that as a fact of life and Live life best you can
When my dad was diagnosed with liver cancer, he refused treatment knowing that he would die. In his words "I am old", he ended up living much longer than they predicted and right up to the moment he died he never complained.
I would do the same, the treatment and side effects for cancer would probably make life miserable
