I am growing my own Chili and adding to the number of plants and my Basil forest does not need any encouragement
My own Chili are hotter, have less seeds and more flavor so another win
Less seeds means that you do not have to remove them, just toss the lot in, much quicker
I have always favored spicy food and my late wife and I would visit the Mediterranean and Mexican restaurants in Melb when we lived there but then I became Gluten intolerant which is a gut problem so I went off all the spicy food as a precaution
But one day at the greengrocers they had a large bag of very fresh small Chili and I thought maybe just one would not hurt ---------- the thin edge of the wedge I was hooked, I also make my own Chili jam.
Garlic and chili go into almost everything, and it definitely does not affect my Gluten problem
