Humans are flawed, so imo, a completely free market economy would lead to imbalances like crushing competition (think Mag 7), wealth imbalance and to some degree, exploitation of those less well off.
Governments are flawed, so with excessive intervention, innovation might be stifled and mediocrity might prevail.
I am prepared to nominate for the position of Australia’s first fair, balanced dictator.
