OMG we have the sun peeping through. BOM predicting heavy rain to arrive this afternoon. Not much fun trying to get around with water over the foot plate of the Quad bike. Finally reached a payout figure with Mum’s insurance company to replace roof hit by hailstorm on the 18th May,2024. She has buckets under the leaks in her sunroom for the whole time. Amazing that they were happy to have a 89 year old woman getting around on wet floors for that length of time. After paying insurance all our lives this has been the first claim we have made on the house. If you are old in this country these companies will screw you over unless you have a family member to fight on your behalf.
