    "A butcher in Nowra, NSW
has claimed two silver medals for best cabanossi and best beef jerky in the world at the Quality International Competition for Sausages and Ham.

The competition, organised by the German Butchers' Association, is the the world's leading and biggest trade fair for the meat industry held every three years in Frankfurt, Germany.

Paul Beresford from Beresford Quality Meats at Nowra said coming second out of more than 80 countries with hundreds of producers is a massive feat.

"Just a small butcher shop down here at Nowra and we're up against even in Australia," he said.
"I [was] competing against the biggest small good companies like Premo, Don Small Goods, Petoki and that's all they do. They specialise in small goods, whereas we just make a few in our butcher shop."
