Markets down a little overnight, only a six day winning streak this time instead of nine days.
25bps rate cut and thats with a bounce in recent inflation, they must think the only answer is de-basement which is probably right if our Gov's fundamental policies don't change, theres even been some bankers calling for a 50bps cut so they must be panicking about something.
Both Canada and UK inflation up, don't be surprised to see it continue higher either with their policies, or ours here in Oz. BoE forecasting 3.4% up from 2.6% Lol.
Gold up.
Nationals have split with the Lefty Liberals, Liberals lost 30 odd seats and Nationals only 1 yet the Liberals think they know what they are doing. Some have had to take a 60k pay cut for doing so but this might help explain in part why they didn't split decades ago but good to see they putting the people first over higher pay, this is how politicians should be, putting the people they represent first.
