I've also said we don't live in a free or fair system, thus the Tariff's. the Tariff's will make trade fair and also incentivise a more free system over time and through deals, Trump has also said if countries drop all their tariff's, trade barriers and costs on imports and currency manipulation then he would go with no Tariff's, you can't just wave a magic wand overnight and it depends on countries outside of Trumps Presidential authority as to whether we end up with a free trade system..
You have to look at the Trump admins overall policy, present and future ones to be able to understand the real world implications and benefits for the American main street people, you can't just isolate one particular thing, it's a complex transition and one has to be mindful of minimising any short term negative impacts through this transition that could occur without carefully implementing each step of which there are many.
At the end of the day J, we just have to sit and watch, i agree with the Trump admin policies will benefit main street and you don't, all we can do is wait and see, Trump admin not going anywhere and i don't think the Dems even have a party left do they?
