Trump seemed to think export countries paid the Tariff but seem he might have realised that is not the case and now he is complaining that the likes of Walmart are going to raise prices
As for Trumps overall policy he seems to make it up as he goes, tariffs go on, tariffs get delayed, tariffs go up and down so no one knows what is going on. It's a chaos clown show.
Started out the tariffs was because of fentanyl and immigration, then it was about bring jobs back but there seems to be no strategic reason or logic. The fact that he flip flops all over the place highlights that.
Tariff's that are targeted can produce positive outcomes but Trump is using blanket tariff with no specific goal other than raise revenue but the problem with that is that it's consumers that are paying the tariff via higher cost
