The simplest way of understanding it's not fair is the fact that American's, Mexicans, Canadians etc eat beef and have no health problems due to it, the health authorities over there also don't flag the beef as a risk because it obviously isn't, yes inside the minds of some "Australians' they maywell believe there is a risk but that doesn't make the risk's they believe in real.
Bit like lock-down and covid shots were for your 'safety' , the playbook is just the same, it's about $ not safety or health.
