    Yeh, i generally agree.

    I find it hard to believe they count Gov spending in our GDP, i'm also surprised they count foreign produced products too because the initials GDP stand for GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCTION ... that is.. domestic production not foreign production like a BMW.

    I would think it's better to use a number relating to people bank account balances or savings plus assets-liabilities for a guage to see how our economy is providing for it's people or how well it's going for it's people. Obviously the more savings and/or the higher value of net assets individuals have is a more accurate guage of how Australians are going economically.

    I don't like the GDP number much as it's misleading imo.
