IMHO Australian men and women have to be divided into about three group
1/ Traditional Aussies from Aussie families who would normally stand up to be counted, but many of those are going to say ( at this time) do we want to fight and die for a radically leftest government that tells us to do so, when it is apparent that they do not operate in the best interests of the Australian people
2/ I do not know what all the statistics are in all states but Victoria has at least 55% of the people born overseas and they have still not assimilated and are encouraged to consider themselves to be citizens of the country they came from with little or no allegiance towards Australia, so as most will have dual passports why should they risk life and limb in a war for Australia
Naturally some will but IMHO it will not be the majority
3/ Then you have a high proportion of the new Migrants who will probably become the ones who turn to sabotage to hasten the end of Australia
On top of that you have the reduced standards in the Australian defense forces and it's leaders, lack of purpose, lack of hi tech equipment, lack of morals etc etc
The British have been systematically turned into the equivalent of serfs of the 16/17th century, so they will not volunteer in any numbers
Not to mention the lack of support from the PS and the politicians, just look at how our returned service people are treated, among the highest suicide group in Australia life
I am not a pacifist, I believe in a strong efficient defense force to stop being attacked, all societies must look after themselves and safeguard their citizens and that means having people who will uphold the laws and our safety
But no one should be celebrating wars, IMHO if the UN is to be of any help they will outlaw ALL invasions and be prepared to enforce it 100% of the time with no veto
