OK Justis, so you got full marks on an assignment, well done Fyi, I am not torturing myself, I am very happy that I left home and school aged 15. I went to the university of life, as my dear stepfather used to describe it.
From a basic lack of formal education, I made my own way and learned how to not only survive, but to prosper. It led me to be a rebel in many ways, but the positive side was that I questioned everything, particularly authority. I was homeless at one point and never forget that Nuns turned me and my friend away one night in the pouring rain, when we needed a bed for the night. But what doesn’t break you, makes you stronger.
Many members of my family attended university, including my daughter, she is now 49 and has totally changed her views. Yes she was a lefty, but now she has experienced life and grown up, she has gone to the sensible side. So basically, a hard start in life stood me in good stead. I have had a wonderful life, enjoying many experiences I never dreamt of.
I am glad to see you putting some happy songs on again Justis, that is more like it.
Could I please ask you to not jump on my posts which others appreciate, after all they are not directed at you, after all. Stay happy
