hmmm. at monash university psychology was considered to belong within the category of Science. This used to insult some academics who thought that Psychology was an Arts rather than Science subject. ps I used to be the .secretary of the Dean of Science for several years so knew where subjects belonged along the spectrum. Psychology was somewhat challenging as it tended to sit somewhat in the centre... I enjoyed Psychology 1st year then within subject area of Education. Since students enter unis without being in need of high scores only, payment all that gets them there.... universities have lost many academics since the changes, I know of academics who have departed now that students are not as highly skilled as of the past.... the standards now much reduced... teachers also have lower standard...ok, enough from me.....
