If I recall correctly psychology could be done as a science or Art degree, at Curtain Uni where I studied it was available as a double degree with Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) or Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations).
A Psychology degree is a good pathway into a career in Market Research, had I known I would have gone down that path but I had dropped the idea of studying psychology as I was not fond of the idea of a career as a Psychologist despite being fond of the subject
I was quite surprised how much applied psychology was in Management and Marketing but it became quite obvious why when you consider Management and Marketing requires understanding and dealing with human behaviour. A stand out unit was consumer behaviour which is pure psychology
