Back in my day, 1 of 8 Kids, when one was due, the Father would drop the mother off at the Hospital and it was a bit like, I'll pick you up a week later
When I was born, the 7th child, the oldest was 8yrs old. 2yrs above me is the one brother, and the eldest is 2yrs older than the one bellow her and there is no twins in there. So, as you would expect, for one lot at least, there is only 10mths apart.
So, you can guess, no Power = no TV in those days The Days of the Black Shack. At around age 15, new house and that magic stuff, power and running water, which somehow got hot when you turned on the right tap LOL.
