Low income earners wouldn't pay more tax, income tax is not the only tax we the people get whacked with, theres GST, theres Fuel tax, stamp duties, luxury car taxes etc etc, the list goes on and on. A rich person would spend a lot and pay more tax than a low income earner just in GST alone more than likely.
