thats brilliant your alive,

i finanly got to do some repairs on my wood heater yesterday, roof was dry so i got up there and did my thing, ill have some brekky and wait for the roof to dry out again before i rivet the top hat into place,

the last straw was when i could smell smoke in the house,

started at the top pulled the old rusted flu out which was only two pieces, the actual ouside liner and the couling, the top hat was okayish, ah what the hell chuck it out and install a new one, which i got anyway,

i reused a section from the top section onto the inside of the house, to replace this here which was rusted due to the couling on the top rusting away and over the years the water was coming in and rusted this here right on the top of the wood heater,,,, couldnt see where the smoke was coming from but you sure could see smoke in the house,

check out my new beuat top hat and couling all in one, the old one was two seperate pieces,



cost me $258 for the new parts and a couple hours of labour,

now to get onto the next job, lol,
