to check to see if you have a nice clean chimmney,
first clean out the fire box, use a dust pan and broom to get all the ash out,
then use the vaccum cleaner to get any remaining dust and rust that comes of the inside of the fire box,
make sure the top hat is of the chimmney,,,
and you should near enough see a perfect circle of light shining down from above, if you dont see a perfect circle of light then your chimney is blocked or you need to wait until its morning,,,,,,
