Arh algae is a problem for all pond owners I now realise.

Thanks to the UV clarifier I have nice clear water but have an algae problem, I will take the following steps.

• Shade the pond, to start with using shade cloth and for the long term plant another 3-4 fern trees
• Increase water flow
• Improve aeration

I also have a problem with caterpillars eating floating plants
