We have cathedral ceilings parsifal. I don't think I could live with anything but now. Rooms feel much larger. We do have ceilings fans and louvres though. A ceiling fan in the lounge room pushes heat from wood heater/ aircon back down in the winter. One disadvantage is that it is hard to retrofit with better insulation as there isn't a roof cavity. Only option is to wait until re-roofing (nothing currently wrong roof) or batten insulation over existing T @ G wooden ceiling and gyprock it. Well that's not going to happen so I guess we'll live with it.
