I've always taken hump day to mean half way over the week and looking forward to a weekend @Margaret63 - nothing
else.
I recall a few of us teasing one very funny older guy we worked with years ago, about it being pay day though.
Not only did he get payed well but he would race to the Victoria market at lunch time and fill his Gladstone bag with
fresh food on pay day.
Definitely in with a chance tonight came his remark as he returned to work.
Some can get away with such remarks because they are anything but sleazy. He was just a funny and nice married guy.
Everyone without exception liked working with him.
