    it’s probably very wise to get a second opinion

    most certainly to see if there is agreement on the type of treatment- or management (which might be no treatment, but monitoring or similar).

    Really get up on what the latest ideas are

    because there are some very out of date urologists (and dangerous) around and a lot of people are swayed into thinking that they know their stuff because they are a nice person.

    Nice does not mean that they are any good at what they do.

    Getting a second opinion isn’t necessarily all that simple - be aware that some of them stick together and they don’t like to be checked up on. I’ve no magic formula there.

    With luck - you won’t have Ca and it’ll be an accurate test.

    Then you’ll have the joy of choosing management or treatment for enlarged prostate if it’s giving you annoying problems.

    There’re a lot of new treatments in that area- depending on your diagnosis, get back to me on the latter if needed. There are treatments now here and in the UK for enlargement that I never heard of in Oz a few years ago.

    Things are changing rapidly. Again- good luck with it
