Can anyone give their interpretation of this question please.
It is one of the selection criteria I need to answer but the question is baffling

Knowledge or Proficiency: Modifies and applies concepts to new situations that may impact beyond the immediate work area.

I was thinking it was about the ability to modify and adapt your approach based upon perceived future impacts (positive or negative??

What do you think?
