It is no longer necessary to have couples produce more than 1 or two children, certainly not in the numbers those sects seem to produce, some of which even go in for multiple wives - families of over 20 not uncommon (all seen on TV and in America!), often being unable to afford even decent housing for their 'tribes'. I have seen one guy with 4 wives (on TV) buy shipping containers, so he could have 'bedrooms' for his children.

Same with pious Muslims, or just uneducated Muslims in Europe; "have as many children as possible and burden the Welfare States of the West with their upkeep and we can outbreed 'them' - 'the infidel'". It is primitive, even a danger to all our welfare.

All of which has nothing to do with anyone taking moral principles and rules of behaviour from the Bible or Religion in general - it's when their priests need to exerise authority - or perhaps want to increase the size of their flock - by viewing women as breeding animals and first indoctrinating them that it is the Will of God or some such nonsense.

Sorry, Fishinnick, I may seem rude, but your response to big e wasn't exactly polite either.
Overpopulation of this our precious world is the one huge issue we and the next generation will have to deal with, it may even be behind the pandemic.
Please re-think this issue

Tau, I don't think Fish was having a go at big e in a bad way just that they have a joke on the pin thread and have a friendly banter going between them for a while. It continued over here.

I was in disbelief when I read that the global population was in decline. But the global fertility rate has actually been in decline even before the pandemic. The pandemic actually has some governments worried as many don't want children now. They think that psychologically it will stop a lot of countries population growth. I think it dropped about 4 percent in the USA alone.

I believe we will work out our problems and food etc., probably we'll go through more earth anomalies. These shark attacks, king tides do have me a little worried. As well as just in town, horses have been getting out as well as dogs and cats - nature always knows when something is off. But I have had a feeling for a while that something good is coming later in the year. I think this G7 meetings do not good and I don't believe that Davos didn't happen this year. The Elite always meet no matter what. I just hate hearing about Harry and Meaghan complaining about their problems considering what others are facing in the world with the pandemic.
