I would very wary of the Krudd governments's promises to do anything. (Still wondering about work choices, computers in schools and troops abroad). Still, sounds like a wonderfully drafted piece of 'toothless tiger' legislation. The only time INT should be concerned with any government initiative is when they are singing a contract. Otherwise, as I have said before, eco-business is about hearts and minds. If people can still use a $1.00 standard bulb from the supermarket for the same result, then why buy a $4.00 eco bulb? And don't forget, there are plenty of well-informed and well-researched climate change sceptics out there. The eco-business is huge. I prefer the meters personally.
