The government can make rules on who can use the port, what they are charged, how its run, who can be a director, what a foreign director can be excluded from knowing.

Consider a gas pipeline or power grid; The owners dont determine any of these things. All they have a right to is the distribution of profits that the directors choose to make.

2) The Chinese don’t have to “invade” Australia to take over. They don’t need to send the young warriors in landing craft to take over our cities. Catch a train into the Sydney CBD and you may be the only non Chinese on the train. Back home the party knows where their family lives.

3) Learn to speak Chinese.

Tell that to the residents on Keswick Island after the results for them since China bought the head lease.

If everyone bends over, as you suggest is the appropriate response to the CCP control in Australia, then we will be their servants.
