    Great post gekko.......I share your concerns regarding this "lending" of OUR shares to hedge funds!!

    My mate is a client of US broker who pays him 2x div yield on his 400,000 CBA shares (cost of $10 per share i might add!) to use for shorting.

    So if our lazy super fund manager are doing this and charging the unit holders 2% on funds under management!!!!

    ASIC investigation required and securities laws revised to ensure transparency!!!!

    I will be dead before that happens though....sigh
