IMO, we will see a major price war between 2-3 bidders. Majority of ELM shares (around 70%) are tightly held by top ten shareholders. It will be hard to persuade those guys to let go of their shares easy. Any bidder would have to offer good dollars before any serious consideration. IMO, after the JORC ann. it will be days and not weeks before an offer is made. BHP and RIO could be watching each other very closely as they wouldn't want ELM to slip away as there is nothing else they can consider out there.
