the Fin. Review also stated today (at p.49) "A second consortium comprising European buy-out fund Permira, the CCMP fund formerly trading as JPMorgan private equity fund, and Cerberus Capital Management is working on a potential rival offer should a formal sale process begin"
I think you will see a strengthening of the shareprice towards close today ahead of cML profit announceemtn tomorrow..possibly back to $14.70 levels.
I've read earlier that analysts expect an ordinary dividend of 40c/share- 41.5c/share could be declared tomorrow. I'd like to see a special divvy declared on top of this.
