Main risks are that conditions change for the worse during the due diligence phase ,…could be larger than expected Govt intervention on price caps or diverting sales away from export market to domestic markets , or both. The other risk could be FIRB determine that the takeover is not in the national interest . Such a takeover has many of the attributes that the attempted takeover of Woodside by Shell had some years ago. I give the chance of success fifty fifty at best so I sold around half of my holding . I will keep the rest as I can’t see the sp dropping back too far and they do have a good yield.
